Geheimnis gelüftet - Teil 1

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich geschrieben, dass ich etwas stricke das ich nicht zeigen darf da die Anleitung noch nicht veröffentlicht wurde. Seit letztem Samstag ist es so weit, der erste Teil der Anleitung ist veröffentlicht und ich darf ein Bild davon zeigen.

Das Garn habe ich selbst gefärbt mit einem Farbverlauf von hell nach dunkel lila. Sah auch wirklich gut aus, aber ich hatte mich leider bei der nötigen Menge verschätzt, so kam es am Ende nicht so hin, wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe. Das färbe ich dann nach, dachte ich mir. Heute war es dann so weit. Als die Farbe aufgetragen war sah noch alles gut aus. Nicht mehr jedoch als ich das Tuch nach dem Fixieren auspackte. Die Farbe hatte sich getrennt und extrem hässliche rote und blaue Flecken produziert.
Jetzt habe ich es mit ganz dunkelbrombeer überfärbt und hoffe, dass alle Flecken abgedeckt werden. Wenn nicht muss schwarz ran. Ich übertreibe nicht, wenn ich sage dass ich mich grade ganz furchtbar ärger.

Now that the first part of the pattern is published, I can finally show you part of shawl that I’ve knit some time ago. I dyed the yarn going from light to dark purple but made an error in calculation how much I need for the border. So it didn’t come out the way I wanted it to. Well, I thought that I’m just going to overdye part of it. Today was dye-day. When I applied the colour everything looked good, not so much after setting the colour. The purple dye had split up into red and blue and produced some super ugly blotches. I then overdyed again. This time with a very dark bramble colour. I hope that it covered all spots, if not I’ll have to use black. I do not exaggerate when I say that I’m raging mad right now.
